Introducing, the ‘Wine & Beer’ section on The Travelling Squid
The ‘Wine & Beer’ section was started due to a classic conundrum – Picking the right wine or beer at a supermarket.
In Singapore, alcohol is not cheap, and the feeling of picking out an expensive wine only to have it fall beyond expectations, essentially – sucks.
Therefore, with our strong wine appetite, we’ll seek to share our reviews of the wines which have satisfied our palate, and some which we think should really be thrown off the shelves (or marked down at a great discount).
Do note that wine tastes and preferences can be subjective.
